CAMPING

Idaho Power offers discounts for seniors, vets

The company started a three-year program to provide discounted fees to service-disabled military veterans and seniors at its C.J. Strike Reservoir and Hells Canyon parks. A service-related disability qualifies a vet for a 50 percent discount on overnight camping. Seniors 60 and older will get $2 off camping per night from April 1 to Oct. 31.
