A 13-year-old Eatonville boy accused of compiling a “kill list” of fellow students will be allowed to go home while his case makes its way through court.

Pierce County Superior Court Commissioner Wendy Zicht on Friday agreed to release the boy from juvenile detention provided he is under adult supervision 24 hours a day and wears an electronic device that will alert authorities if he leaves home.

Zicht also ordered all guns removed from the boy’s home, deputy prosecutor Kevin Benton said.

The boy was arrested Feb. 8 after the principal at Eatonville Middle School learned the teen allegedly had compiled the kill list. He’s also been expelled from school.

Prosecutors have charged the boy with four counts of felony harassment. He’s pleaded not guilty and is expected to appear in court again Tuesday.
