Even on a holiday, the Tacoma Rainiers couldn’t keep clam about their new concessionaire.

Officials for the Triple-A Seattle Mariners’ affiliate announced on Presidents Day that the team has inked a multiyear deal with Ivar’s Inc., making the Northwest seafood company the exclusive food and beverage provider for Cheney Stadium.

Under the agreement, Ivar’s will manage and operate all general concessions, premium dining and hospitality services at the city-owned ballpark during Rainiers home games, concerts and other nongame, year-round specialty events, team officials announced in a news release Monday.

The deal takes effect for the coming baseball season.
