F eb. 9 — An 81-year-old woman reported the apparent theft of cash, credit cards and other property from her room at a Gig Harbor retirement community. A man in his 60s was seen at the facility, asking about employment. The person responsible allegedly used the woman’s credit cards to make several purchases at stores and at a gas station. No suspects had been identified at the time of the report.
