CIP is a Tacoma-based organization dedicated to empowering families and self-advocates access to community services, resources, activities and programs.
The meeting is open to everyone in the community.

The Puyallup School District is hosting a public forum for parents, students and community members to learn about the district’s Native American education program. It will be from 5:30-7 p.m. May 2 at Firgrove Elementary School, 13918 Meridian S., Puyallup.
RICHLAND -- Three Rivers Homelink is holding an information meeting for community members interested in the school's programs at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the school, 517 Jadwin Ave., Richland.
The presentation will provide an overview of Homelink and a special presentation on the school's science, technology, engineering, art and math, or STEAM program.
Homelink recently received an "Innovative School" award from the Washington State Superintendent.
A workshop about how to start and maintain a community garden is at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Kennewick Senior Center, 500 S. Auburn St.
Gardening experts will be available to meet one-on-one to discuss design, soil testing and preparation, planting, care and harvesting, gardening tools and how to donate excess garden produce.
At 5:30 p.m., community garden experts will begin a formal presentation on the ins and outs of a community garden.
Pierce College has selected Dr. Marty Cavalluzzi to become the next president of the Puyallup campus beginning July 1.
The Gig Harbor Downtown Waterfront Alliance, formerly known as the Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront Association, has been designated as an accredited National Main Street Program for meeting the commercial district revitalization performance standards set by the National Main Street Center, a subsidiary of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
