A fire broke out in a Tacoma metal shop this morning, quickly filling the large commercial building with smoke.

Firefighters responded about 7:15 a.m. to Precision Machine Works, Inc., in the 2000 block of Puyallup Avenue and saw smoke coming from the structure’s eaves.
