The 24th annual Spring Fair returns to the Washington State Fair Events Center in Puyallup from Thursday, April 18 through Sunday, April 21.
New to the Spring Fair this year is an exhibit called Aussie Kingdom, featuring three shows throughout the course of the Spring Fair that showcases kangaroos, wallabies and walleroos and other Australian wildlife like lizards and birds that include the kookaburra and the rainbow lorikeet, plus bearded and frill dragons.
Other new additions include a root beer garden for kids at the KidZone Too! found inside the Red Gate that also features face painting and Kids Town America.
Other features are Auto Alley, showcasing the racing world of dragsters, funny cars and much more from Pacific Raceways and the LeMay Family Collection Foundation will display an eclectic selection of automobiles.

Advance discount tickets can be purchased online. Starting March 25, advance gate tickets can be purchased at Fred Meyer stores, Safeway stores and the South Hill Mall for $7.50 (adults), and $5.50 (students 6-18 years). A coupon is included with these discount tickets at these locations, which offers six rides/games for $16 (this coupon excludes Extreme Scream and Roller Coaster).
The Spring Fair in Puyallup started in 1990. It's considered the Pacific Northwest's biggest celebration of spring and the the seventh largest fair in Washington state.
