The incident occurred about 11 p.m. in the 600 block of South 38th Street.
A 42-year-old woman inside a nearby establishment spotted the prowler near her Ford Explorer and went outside to investigate, police said. After finding him in the SUV’s front seat, the woman confronted the man and tried to reclaim her property.
The prowler shoved the woman, drawing attention from a nearby man, who pinned the suspect, also 42, until police arrived. He was arrested on suspicion of vehicle prowl and email@example.com
