The Pierce County Flood Control Zone District (FCZD) Advisory Committee has announced it will meet from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 1 at the Port of Tacoma Fabulich Center.
Meeting topics will include:
- an update from the US Army Corps of Engineers on the Puyallup River General Investigation Study
- finalizing a recommendation for the operation of the FCZD Opportunity Fund
- discussing a draft FCZD Comprehensive Plan of Development
- learning about how projects were prioritized in the newly adopted Pierce County Flood Hazard Management Plan
