Carlos Peguero slugged a pair of solo homers to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 5-1 win over the Cleveland Indians in spring-training play.

Raul Ibanez and Kendrys Morales each went 2-for-3 for the Mariners, who received solid pitching performances from prospects Danny Hultzen and Taijuan Walker as well.

Hultzen struck out four Indians over two scoreless innings to begin the game, with Walker yielding just one walk while fanning two over the next two frames.

Cleveland starter Brett Myers gave up just two hits over three innings, but one was Peguero's first homer of the day.

Yan Gomes finished 2-for-2 with a double to pace the Indians offensively.
