In recognition of St. Patrick's Day, The Bellingham Herald will again publish family-friendly limericks written by Whatcom County residents.
The limericks will appear online and in print on Monday, March 18.

Because love is eternal, The Bellingham Herald will once again run love poems written by Whatcom County residents in honor of Valentine's Day.
Selected entries will run in the Feb. 11 Herald, and all accepted entries will run online at TheBellinghamHerald.com.
Poems can be submitted online at extra.bellinghamherald.com/contact, emailed to dean.kahn@bellinghamherald.com; mailed to "Valentine's Day poems," c/o The Bellingham Herald, second floor, 1155 N. State St., Bellingham, WA 98225; or hand-delivered to the Herald business office.
Bellingham Herald photographer Matt McDonald had just finished up a photo assignment in downtown Bellingham and he noticed a double rainbow. He jumped in his truck and drove down to Maritime Heritage Park to capture it.
