No one was injured in a light rail-car crash that happened about 3 p.m. at 13th and Commerce streets in downtown Tacoma, according to Tacoma Fire.
Service has been disrupted in the area as crews clear the scene, according to Sound Transit.

UPDATE as of 2:15 p.m. Fire crews were called at 2:42 a.m. to North 1st Street and North Tacoma Avenue to respond to the crash. Witnesses told officers that a recklessly driven vehicle heading northbound on Tacoma Avenue, south of Division Avenue, crashed into two parked cars and then the light pole, according to Tacoma police.
A driver who reportedly crashed into two parked cars and then a light pole early Sunday died after the vehicle became engulfed in flames, according to Tacoma police.
