A 8-car collision is blocking two left lanes on northbound Interstate 5 near the Tacoma Dome, according to the state Department of Transportation.
UPDATE as of 2:15 p.m. Fire crews were called at 2:42 a.m. to North 1st Street and North Tacoma Avenue to respond to the crash. Witnesses told officers that a recklessly driven vehicle heading northbound on Tacoma Avenue, south of Division Avenue, crashed into two parked cars and then the light pole, according to Tacoma police.
