F eb. 16 — A man was exceeding the posted 20 mph speed limit near the Gig Harbor Boys & Girls Club. An officer clocked the 49-year-old riding his motorcycle at 65 mph. The man fled after the officer attempt to pull him over. After a three-mile chase, the man’s motorcycle malfunctioned, forcing him to pull to the side of the road. The man was arrested without further complications. He allegedly told the officer he was “feeling stupid.” The man was given several criminal citations, including felony eluding and reckless driving. The man also had an open beer strapped to the seat of his motorcycle. He passed a field sobriety test at the scene with a zero reading.
