Stefen Romero collected four hits and drove in seven runs, as the Seattle Mariners pounded the Kansas City Royals, 12-2, in Cactus League action.

Romero hit a grand slam in the fourth inning and launched a three-run homer in the ninth.

Casper Wells also clubbed a three-run homer and added an RBI double for the Mariners, who dealt the Royals their first loss this spring.

David Lough hit a run-scoring double off Seattle starter Felix Hernandez.
