Puyallup Vikings girls water polo team captain Carlie Holland said her team hasn't specifically discussed its goals for the 2013 season but yet they all know what they want to achieve. Last season the Vikings advanced to the state tournament and didn't place.
Holland said a repeat of 2012 is unacceptable.
"We did not perform well last year when it counted," Holland said of the state competition. "We certainly want to place better than we did last year. It's not necessarily about getting a certain place, its all about improving from last year's showing.
Recently The Herald had an opportunity to ask Holland a few questions about her life away from the pool.
The Herald: What is your favorite restaurant in Puyallup?
Carlie Holland: Red Robin. We always go there as a team.
