A man was arrested in Pasco on Thursday afternoon after he took his sister's ex-boyfriend's car and crashed it, police said.

The incident occurred around 4 p.m. on the east side of Pasco.

There is a dispute of ownership over the vehicle and the man went over to the ex-boyfriend's home and took the keys before driving off, police said.

No one was injured in the crash, but the suspect was taken to a hospital because he was suspected to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, authorities said.

He is being held in the Franklin County jail under suspicion of theft and DUI.
