The Atlanta Falcons have signed safety William Moore to a five-year contract, keeping the four-year veteran off the open market.

Financial terms of the deal for the impending unrestricted free agent were not disclosed.

Moore earned his first career Pro Bowl selection in 2012 after recording 105 tackles, including 74 solo, with four interceptions and one sack. He has 11 career interceptions and 275 tackles over 42 games during his career.

The Falcons selected Moore with a second-round pick in the 2009 NFL Draft.
