BELLINGHAM - A panel will discuss pregnancy and early parenting during a Thursday, March 21, event organized by Whatcom County Triple Play.
The free event, which is open to the public, is 3:30 to 5 p.m. at St. Luke's Community Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway.
Triple Play is a group, made up mainly of social service providers, that focuses on connections between mental health, chemical dependency and domestic violence - with the goal of improving services.
Speakers will be:
-- Jenny Bouldry, pregnancy and parenting specialist for Amara.
-- Susie Specter, Safe Babies Safe Moms/Growing Together Program coordinator at Brigid Collins.
-- Brenda Mashburn, GRADS Teen Parent Program teacher for Squalicum High School.
-- Kelsey Peronto, education and outreach coordinator for Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services.
-- Katherine Dickinson, doctor and medical director for Planned Parenthood.
