Prairie Line Trail open house Thursday

The City of Tacoma is developing a conceptual design for the conversion of the former Prairie Line rail corridor. The plan is to create a pedestrian-bicycle corridor and park through downtown Tacoma and down to the Foss Waterway.

The City of Tacoma is developing a conceptual design for the conversion of the former Prairie Line rail corridor. The plan is to create a pedestrian-bicycle corridor and park through downtown Tacoma and down to the Foss Waterway.

The city is holding an open house Thursday to present its ideas for the trail. The meeting begins at 5:30 p.m., with the presentation at 6 p.m. It will be at the Tacoma Art Museum’s Murray Family Event Space, 1701 Pacific Ave., Tacoma.
