A 17-year-old boy accused of lewd conduct against female employees at two downtown Tacoma shops has pleaded guilty to two counts of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation.
He was ordered to serve 24 days at Remann Hall Juvenile Detention Center. He already had spent that much time in detention before pleading guilty and was given credit for time served. He also must write a letter of apology to each victim and be on probation for a year.
He can serve community service to reduce his sentence, Pierce County deputy prosecutor Kevin Benton said.
The teen was arrested in early February after assaulting women on Antique Row by distracting them and ejaculating on their backs. He fled the store before the victims realized what he’d done.
The teen was arrested after a police officer spotted a youth matching the suspect’s description. The youth ran, but the officer caught him.
