Puyallup police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for stealing a Children’s Miracle Network donation bin.

The theft occurred about 7:10 p.m. Jan. 20 outside the Walmart store at 310 31st Ave. SE. Witnesses and surveillance cameras saw two men loading the donation bin into a black 1990s Ford Thunderbird and driving away.

One of the men was arrested. He told police he knew his accomplice only by the nickname “Ahab,” given because the man apparently looks like a pirate.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detective Michael Lusk at 253-841-5521 or at mlusk@ci.puyallup.wa.us. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
