Pierce County prosecutors have charged a 22-year-old Edgewood man after finding an explosive device, drugs and stolen weapons in his home.
A Texas paramedic who helped evacuate people on the night of the deadly fertilizer plant explosion in West has been charged with possessing bomb-making materials, including a pipe and chemicals.
Texas law enforcement officials on Friday launched a criminal investigation into the massive fertilizer plant explosion that killed 14 people last month, after weeks of largely treating the blast as an industrial accident.
BOARDMAN -- Police are investigating the discovery of an explosive device Saturday.
The Oregon State Police Bomb Squad disabled the device, found on Oregon Trail Boulevard south of Interstate 84, with a robot.
Officials said people would have been injured if the device exploded, according to a release.
Even though things were blown to bits, investigators working a multiblock crime scene in Boston to determine what kind of device was used and what kind of bomber planned the attack know how vital the bits are.
