The Tennessee Titans waived safety Jordan Babineaux and guard Mitch Petrus on Tuesday.

Babineaux had 96 tackles and one interception while starting 12 of 16 games for the Titans last season. He posted 93 tackles and one interception in his first year with Tennessee in 2011.

The Southern Arkansas product has 600 tackles, four sacks and 12 interceptions in 131 career games with the Titans and Seattle Seahawks.

Petrus played in two games (one start) for Tennessee in 2012. He has played in 27 career games (four starts) over three seasons with the New York Giants, New England Patriots and Titans.
