The public is invited to Gig Harbor’s first open mic night 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. Thursday at Spiro’s Pizza & Pasta, 3108 Harborview Drive.
Featured reader Wendy Hinman will share passages from her book, “Tightwads on the Loose,” the story of sailing on the Pacific Ocean with her husband for seven years.
After her presentation, several writers, including Tim Acker, Dick Dixon, Dianne Gardner, Scott van Duker, Suezy Proctor, Larry Fowler and Brad Myers, will read five-minute samples of their work.
