F eb. 26 — Two 16-year-old girls from Elgin were traveling on 92nd Street KPN when the tires of their truck got onto the shoulder and lost traction. The driver turned too hard to recover, and the truck spun around on the road and came to rest sideways against a tree. Damage to the vehicle was minimal. One girl sustained a foot injury and the other was uninjured. The injured girl was treated and transported to St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor for further care.
