Puyallup-based realtor named chairman of NWMLS board of directors

Bobbie Petrone Chipman, a principal managing broker at John L. Scott in Puyallup, has been elected chairman of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service board of directors.

According to a NWMLS press release, Chipman has been a licensee since 1992 and a managing broker since 1996 at John L. Scott Real Estate in Puyallup. She is one of two represenatives on the board of directors representing the Pierce/Thurston voting district.

Chipman is a past president of the Tacoma-Pierce County Association of Realtors and an active member of Realtor associations at the state and national levels.

Northwest Multiple Listing Service, owned by its member real estate firms, is the largest full-service multiple listing service in the Northwest. Its membership includes more than 21,000 real estate brokers. The organization is based in Kirkland, Wash. and serves 21 counties in Washington state. Directors are elected from 11 voting districts.
