Construction delays have moved the opening of Savor Creperie forward an additional month. The creperie will operate in the University of Washington Tacoma neighborhood. Owner Tom Vigue said hes expecting to be serving crepes by early April. Vigue said last fall he planned to open by January, but turning the former bookstore into a restaurant space has taken longer than previously expected. Vigue, a newcomer to Tacoma, described his menu as something like what one would find in the many walk-in creperies that pepper Vancouver B.C.
The creperie will operate at 1916 Pacific Ave. in a neighborhood expecting two other new restaurants Than Brothers Pho and Granolas frozen yogurt are expected to open nearby in the Joy Building before this summer.
