That is based on 35,081 Internet-based surveys compiled by Southwick Associates, determining the brands hunters and shooters purchased most frequently last year. Among rifle brands, Remington and Ruger shared the top spot at 11.5 percent of all purchases. Among muzzleloaders, CVA was the top brand at 31 percent. Among bow buyers, Hoyt was tops at 15 percent of all purchases.
