Renner will be recognized at the Washington Educators Conference in October and also will advance to national competition. She has been principal at the school in the Franklin Pierce School District since 2010.

The Elementary Schools Principals Association of Washington recently recognized Laurie Dent, principal of Liberty Ridge Elementary School, as a Regional Distinguished Principal for 2012.
Sean Shaughnessy will begin July 1 as principal of Roosevelt Elementary School.
Andrea Landes will be the new principal at Emerald Hills Elementary School this fall. She has worked for the Sumner School District since 2008.
The Puyallup School District has announced several leadership changes in the district, including new principals for the coming school year. They begin their new assignments July 1.
