Community Schools of Lakewood will host its annual Champions for Youth Breakfast and celebrate 20 years of the organization working with Clover Park Schools. The featured speaker will be David Pritchard, assistant football coach at Clover Park High School, author and national speaker for Young Life.
The event is set for 7 a.m. March 28 at Old Country Buffet in Lakewood Towne Center. There is no charge to attend, but a $50 donation is requested to help fund the After School, Readiness to Learn and Champion Mentor programs at schools in the district. To make reservations, call 253-589-7489.
