A fire that destroyed a mobile home at the Auburn Railroad Yard Monday morning was arson, according to Valley Regional Fire Authority.
A Kennewick mobile home was destroyed by a fire early Saturday morning.
LYNDEN - Nobody was hurt when a fire destroyed a singlewide mobile home and two cars late Monday, March 18, west of Lynden.
The resident of 301 W. Badger Road is moving out, so he wasn't home at the time, said Whatcom County Fire Marshal Will Anderson.
Adding together the value of everything lost in the flames - some tools, clothes, cars and the home - Anderson estimated the loss at $8,000.
Officials now say 53 structures including 24 residences were destroyed by the big wildfire in northern Los Angeles County.
The cause of a fire that destroyed a Lakewood home early Saturday is still being investigated, according to West Pierce Fire & Rescue.
