Carrie Underwood, the winner of the fourth season of American Idol in 2005 and now a country music superstar, is scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the Washington State Fair's 2013 Concert Series. presented by Columbia Bank.
Underwood has sold more than 15 million albums worldwide, has 16 No. 1 singles with seven as co-writes and has garnered six Grammy awards. All of this success is a result of four albums, produced in less than eight years.
Tickets are $95, $85, $65 and $45 with reserved seating and include Fair gate admission, unless noted. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. March 23 at www.thefair.com/concerts or by phone (888) 559-FAIR (3247) daily, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Washington State Fair Box Office at 9th Ave. S.W. and Meridian Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays.
CeeLo Green, known for his performance theatrics and flashy clothing style, will also perform at the Washington State Fair at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12. Tickets for CeeLo Green will go on sale the same day as Underwood concert tickets. CeeLo Green tickets are $60, $50, $40, $30 and $20.
