Beginner, scoliosis yoga classes begin in April

Yoga Community in Kennewick is putting on an eight-week Beginning Toga course starting April 3. A six-week Yoga for scoliosis series, which will teach specific yoga techniques for scoliosis, starts April 11.

Pre-registration is requested for both classes. Beginning Yoga is $95, and Yoga for Scoliosis is $75 for the series, or $17 for drop-ins.

    The Tri-Cities Cancer Center Foundation is holding a Run for Ribbons 5K run and 1-mile walk and health fair.

    The event will begin at 8:30 a.m. April 27 at Howard Amon Park in Richland.

    Cost is $25 for adults and $15 for children.
