The same storm that’s set to bring heavy winds to Western Washington this week will also dump up to two feet of snow in the mountains, forecasters said.
The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning and avalanche watch from tonight until early Thursday morning.
Paradise, Snoqualmie Pass, White Pass, Stevens Pass and Mount Baker are expected to receive the most powder. The snow level is expected to fall to 1,500 feet late Wednesday and possibly rise above 4,000 feet briefly tonight and Wednesday morning.
Forecasters issued the avalanche watch due to fluctuating snow levels.
