Cancer center offering stress reduction class

Tri-Cities Cancer Center is offering a free presentation on "Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction."

The class will be from 10 to 11 a.m. today at the center, 7350 W. Deschutes Ave., Kennewick.

Kathleen Shannon will presented on how to deal with physical, emotional and psychological stress, as well as how to cope with chronic pain and illness.

    The aircraft, often referred to as drones, will fly over fields at the Hermiston Agricultural Research and Extension Center and at a private farm west of Boardman, The Bulletin and East Oregonian newspapers report.

    The project comes at a time when interest in the use of unmanned aircraft has risen across the nation, and it involves Boeing, Oregon State University, The U.S. Department of Agriculture and a Bend-based startup called Paradigm.
