The Olympia School Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Centennial Elementary School, 2637 45th Ave. SE, Olympia.

Agenda items include:

*Recognition of the district’s newest three National Board Certified teachers.

*A presentation about Centennial Elementary School, including two songs by its school choir.

*Discussion of revisions to the district’s attendance area transfers policy.

*Discussion and possibly vote on a revision to the district’s weapons and dangerous objects policy.

*Discussion and possible vote on a resolution urging the state Legislature to address K-12 funding.

*A presentation and discussion of the 2013-14 school year calendar.

*A report on the benefits and challenges of later start times for high school students.

*A presentation on the design for the new Olympia Regional Learning Academy including details on building and site layout.

*An update on the district’s savings associated with staggering bell schedules for the current school year.
