Pierce County prosecutors today charge three men and a woman with first-degree murder and first-degree robbery in the death of a man gunned down in a Tacoma motel March 29.
Marcus Reed, 24; Daniel Davis, 25; Damien Davis, 30; and Ariel Abrejera, 21, all are charged with one count each of first-degree murder and two counts each of first-degree robbery. Reed, Davis and Davis also are charged with being felons in possession of firearms. Prosecutors do not believe Daniel Davis and Damien Davis are related.
Not guilty pleas were entered on their behalves today in Superior Court. Court Commissioner Meagan Foley ordered Reed jailed in lieu of $2 million, Davis and Davis is lieu of $1.5 million and Abrejera in lieu of million bail.
Prosecutors contend in charging documents the four hatched a plan to rob Donald Phily and others in the Morgan Motel, which is in the 7000 block of Pacific Avenue, after Damien Davis visited the room and saw drugs and electronics there.
Daniel Davis allegedly provided the gun for the job, and Abrejera acted as getaway driver, court records show.
