Three people from Lakewood were arrested Monday in connection with a robbery and stabbing that sent a 52-year-old Rainier man to the hospital, according to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

Arrested on suspicion of robbery and assault in the first degree were: Scott O. Weems, 26, Sarah M. Huson, 23, and Rosemarie Flecha, 27, all of Lakewood.

Sheriff’s deputies also are looking for a black man by the name of “Keith,” although they’re unclear about his involvement in the case, according to a news release. It gave this account:

About 11 p.m. Sunday night, Huson contacted the victim, asking to borrow $20. They met in the 13200 block of 118th Ave. SE, which is near Rainier.

The victim pulled up in his vehicle to hand her the money when Weems suddenly appeared, allegedly demanding more money and his cellphone.

The victim put his vehicle in reverse to flee the scene, but as he did, Weems allegedly stabbed him in his left arm several times.

The victim later drove to a relative’s house and called 911 before being taken to Providence St. Peter Hospital, where he underwent surgery on his left arm.

Huson, Weems and Flecha, the woman allegedly driving the vehicle, were later arrested in Lakewood.
