Witnesses to fatal crash Saturday on SR 167 near Auburn sought

The State Patrol is looking for witnesses to a car crash Saturday near Auburn that killed the 18-year-old driver of a car.

Pavlo Myronets of Federal Way was driving a silver Toyota Scion TC north on state Route 167 when he left the road near the exit for 277th Street. The vehicle rolled over and landed in a grass ditch. The accident happened about 4:50 a.m.

Troopers said several feet of skid marks were found on the road in front of where Myrontes rolled his car.

Anyone with information about the crash or saw Myrontes’ vehicle beforehand is asked to call State Patrol detectives at 425-401-7719.
