Justin Smoak activated from Mariners' disabled list, Alex Liddi optioned to Tacoma

Tweeted it this morning that Justin Smoak was being activated from the disabled list and that Alex Liddi was being optioned to Triple A Tacoma. We saw Liddi saying his goodbyes last night postgame. Smoak is in the line-up batting sixth and playing first base.

Will this be a big boost for the Mariners offensively? Probably not.
