The Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Department released an age-progressed photo of Lindsey Baum on Wednesday, the fourth anniversary of her disappearance walking home from a friend’s home on Maple Street in McCleary shortly before 9:15 p.m. June 26, 2009.
Lindsey vanished while making the half-mile walk across town to the home she shared with her mother, Melissa, and 12-year-old brother, Josh, on Mommsen Road. The last confirmed sighting of Lindsey was about 9:15 p.m., when a resident driving through town saw her walking on Maple Street between Fifth and Sixth streets — about the halfway point of her journey home.
Grays Harbor County Undersheriff Rick Scott held a press conference Wednesday in McCleary to release the image of Lindsey, who was 10 years old when she disappeared.
There is a $35,000 reward for any information that helps police determine Lindsey’s whereabouts. There have been no arrests in the case, and Scott has said investigators believe she likely was abducted.
Anyone with information about Lindsey’s disappearance should call the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s Department at 360-249-3711.
