Seahawks release Ray Polk, sign tight end Michael Palmer

The Seattle Seahawks announced this morning that they have cut undrafted rookie free agent strong safety Ray Polk. The University of Colorado product was one of six safeties on Seattle’s roster.

With the vacant roster spot, the Seahawks added tight end Michael Palmer, giving the team seven tight ends at one of the thinnest position groups on the team in terms of experience.
