Car fire in Tacoma ruled suspicious

Tacoma police are investigating a car fire investigators have ruled suspicious.

Firefighters were called about 12:20 a.m. Monday to the corner of South 64th and South Stevens streets. They found a 2001 Mercedes Benz fully involved and were able to douse the flame.

Damages were estimated at $10,100, according to the department.

Police spokeswoman Loretta Cool said the car owner reported the Mercedes stolen from Lakewood. No arrests have been made.
