Pierce County detectives are asking for the public’s help in solving the case of a Graham man stabbed to death in his home earlier this week.
Firefighters found the body of Douglas Erhardt, 55, inside his house in the 19300 block of 89th Avenue East on Wednesday after responding to a fire there.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office said Erhardt died of sharp-force injuries to his head and neck.
Sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer said Friday that homicide detectives had few leads.
Anyone with information on Erhardt’s death is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 253-591-5959. A $1,000 reward is available for information that leads to someone being arrested and charged.adam.lynn@ thenewstribune.com
