A house fire in Kent Sunday night displaced two people, the Fire Department reported.

Neighbors spotted smoke at the home in the 14300 block of Southeast 262nd Street about 7:35 p.m. and called 911. Crews arrived to find the garage fully engulfed, with flames moving into the attic and other areas of the house.

It took firefighters about 45 minutes to put out the blaze.

One person was treated on-scene.

The two people who lived there are staying with family members, Capt. Kyle Ohashi said. A cause for the fire has not been determined.
