July 31, 2013

Two men were shot on Interstate 405 near the state Route 167 interchange Wednesday and troopers were looking for a dark SUV.

The incident happened shortly before 5 p.m. and police were also responding to a second scene in Seattle's Beacon Hill neighborhood. Police said the victims called 911 from inside the Seattle city limits, and Tukwila police and the State Patrol were investigating.

A State Patrol spokesman said shortly after 5 p.m. that the scene on I-405 was cleared.

The men, age 23 and 24, were taken from 1355 S. Pearl Street to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
