Three injured in rollover crash near Crystal Mountain

Staff writerAugust 1, 2013

Three people were injured this morning when the vehicle they were riding in rolled over near Crystal Mountain Ski & Summer Resort.

The crash occurred about 8 a.m. All three people inside the car were ejected. One is being taken to a local hospital with serious injuries; the other two suffered moderate injuries.

East Pierce Fire & Rescue said they’re sending another ambulance up state Route 410 to intercept the patients.

“This is an almost 1 hour response from our firehouses to the mountain,” the fire union said. “They will do their best, and be as safe as possible getting there to help.”
