Tacoma attorney Steve Bulzomi has been elected president of the Washington State Association of Justice, the group announced this week.

Bulzomi was selected at the group's annual convention, which was held July 26 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Bulzomi is a partner with Messina Bulzomi Christensen in Tacoma. The firm specializes in personal-injury cases.

"I am committed to recruiting the next generation of attorneys and advocates to protect our right to trial by jury. The fight for justice belongs to all of us," Bulzomi said.

The Association of Justice represents attorneys and other legal professionals in the fields of personal-injury and civil-rights law. It was established in 1953.
