Minor earthquake hits near Gig Harbor

A minor earthquake struck near Gig Harbor this afternoon, according to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.

The 3.6 temblor was recorded around 11:40 a.m. at a depth of 3 ½ miles. The epicenter was near Key Center.

No damages or injuries have been reported.
