Traffic slightly delayed when driver has seizure, crashes into barrier at Sprague and SR16

A man who had a seizure while driving crashed about 4:40 p.m. Wednesday into the side barrier of eastbound state Route 16 at South Sprague Avenue, according to Tacoma Fire.

The crash caused a slight traffic delay as crews closed the two inside lanes to respond, Tacoma Fire Battalion Chief Lincoln Correa said.

Medics treated and transported the driver to a hospital, Correa said.
